Top Priorities

Taxes, Spending, and Efficiency

Those who pay their fair share of taxes and contribute to their communities deserve nothing less than a government that serves them in return. The government should strive to spend and redistribute taxpayer dollars efficiently and fairly. But, Congress has an unsustainable spending addiction and is passing the bill down to us. This has led to numerous threats of government shutdowns.

I will support the new administration's plan to flag perceived waste and fraud, particularly with respect to government contracts, which will scrutinize funds that contribute to conflict. However, I will continue to support funding that enables our agencies to enforce laws and protect Americans from crime.

Protecting Health, Employment, and Retirement

Cost of living and inflation has increased dramatically more than wages have. My policies drive down essential living costs and create a sustainable retirement system. I also support extending tax benefits for child care, mortgage interest, and small business health care along with simplifying retirement and health plans.

I will fight to ensure that upward mobility is not hindered by rising costs. This includes supporting tax incentives that drive advancement and breakthroughs, including in science, engineering, and energy.

We need new leadership that understands how to regulate new technology along with its side effects on our and our kids' social well being, understanding, and development. Generations so close have never lived in realities so far apart. Technology has democratized access to information and cured many of our inconveniences, but it has also introduced complex issues.

I will introduce new consumer protection laws that protect the vulnerable from misinformation or AI deception, scams, facial recognition misuse, algorithmic discrimination (especially in health care), data privacy infringements, securities & crypto fraud. I will modernize Social Security cards to enhance security and reduce identity theft.

Paul Ryan once told me there are actors in congress and there are legislators in congress.

A great U.S. representative would be detached from all worldly desires—reelection, favors for loyalists, bias, monetary gain, outside influences—using their refined judgement to truly protect the American people's interest.
